Public Rallies to Secure Vindication for Fiona Barnett

I would like to thank all those fellow child abuse victims and victim advocates for supporting me. People have supported me in different ways according to their ability and resources. Many had the capacity to lodge complaints with the NSW Police Commissioner and/or the NSW Victim Rights Commissioner concerning the mishandling of my case.

The concerned public’s efforts have produced a result. Victim Services decided to divide my claim up and make a ruling on just one of the incidents of crime, leaving me free to make further claims if I choose. How the system works is, when a single perpetrator is responsible for multiple crimes, those incidents are lumped together and treated as one incident.

Victim Services chose to rule on one incident, the abuse I experienced at the hands of my sadistic step-grandfather Peter Holowczak. They decided on the balance of probabilities that Peter Holowczak did sexually and violently assault me on multiple occasions. One source of supporting documentation Victim Services quoted was a 1993 hospital file entry stating: Ms Barnett presented to hospital “requesting help for sexual abuse by grandfather when she was a child.”

This decision is consistent with Victim Services’ initial, 2014 ruling that on the balance of probabilities I was indeed sexually abused by the multiple perpetrators I reported to the Child Abuse Royal Commission – including Peter Holowczak.

A sum of $10,000 is ridiculously inadequate compared to the harm Peter Holowczak cost me financially, psychologically, academically and professionally over the past 40+ years. However, this decision provides a sense of validation and recognition that I find healing. Also, this ruling offers a sense of hope to my fellow victims of abuse who are vicariously impacted by my public highs and lows. It shows the public what can be achieved by banding together and bothering in the face of an impossible enemy. In the scheme of things, this is a big win.

Our smallest efforts are not futile. Look at what has been exposed since I first went public: Pizzagate / Pedogate, Weinstein / #metoo, NXIVM child traffickers and, most recently, the Australian VIP pedophile ring involving Labor Party speech writer Bob Ellis. It’s only a matter of time before the big one cracks and the true nature and extent of child trafficking is exposed in Australia and abroad. Whether or not it happens in my life time, my decision to jump in first has well contributed to that swelling tidal wave of exposure.

Here is the Victim Services documentation:

Absolutely in awe of you Fiona, thank you for going so far and showing the world what you can do when you are brave enough. I wish I’d done the same thing.

Well done Fiona! You truly are a trail blazer. Your strength in adversity has been encouragement for all victims of child sex abuse to keep shouting about that abuse, regardless of the back lash. Thank you for having that courage. You are an inspiration!

  6. Dear Fiona,

Congratulations for winning some small compensation for your horrendous injuries. If they think that is adequate compensation, they have another thing coming. There’s plenty of money for bureaucrats or politicians salary increases or to buy shitbox F35 Lockheed Martin fighters, or to invade some harmless country, but they struggle to fund compo for legitimate victims of these sickos.

My friend wrote to Mick Fuller (privately) by email, demanding that he support your application for compensation, and to stop blocking your attempts to out this horrendous satanic pedophile ring in Australia.

3 days later, the pet dog was viciously slashed with a razor.

Coincidence? or a message? We don’t know.

We want to support you and help you, but unfortunately, many of us just cannot comprehend the evil we are combating, having had no personal experience of this insanity.

Victims of this evil abuse need to have their voice heard and have the predators face punishment for afflicting such evil , preverteded physyical and mental abuse on the innocent . Justice needs to be served and Fiona Barnett needs to be listened to by victims of crime and the whole of Australia . I have so much admaration for Fiona – to me Fiona represents all past victims – the work we all need to do to rescue the children that are having this evil inflicted on them now – and seeing a future where no child will have to ever ever endure such horrific abuse again . I love you Fiona Barnett – your are amazing ❤️

  9. Many children’s lives have been saved because you Fiona chose to tell about your horrific abuse as a child by the very people that were looked up to, the so called pillars of society. You and others like you have the courage to face evil head on, the least we can do is stand beside you. You are one tough cookie, thank God and bless you.

    Dear Fiona,

I don’t imagine that your griefs are the first or the last. Nor do I imagine that swiping at Hydra will change the Beast for what it is.

With 40 years of trying to persuade idiots and lackeys behind me and my friends, it is apparent that they don’t care. They should have the usual computer-generated reply: “we don’t care what you think.”

    Orrite! that is clumsy

Dear NSW Police Commissioner Fuller and Dear Director of Victims Services,
Thank you for enabling a compensation payment to Ms Fiona Barnett. It has, in one fell swoop, restored the honour of Australia.
    Yours sincerely, Mary W Maxwell

P.S. As shown in the attached drawing, Ms Barnett also suffered the crime of torture, committed by the late John Gittinger. This is easily verified by similar drawings in America by MK-Ultra survivors. As they say “You can’t make this stuff up.” (The yellow items are cattle prods.)

I trust you will not refuse a payment on the grounds that it would reveal the horrors of Holsworthy . (In America it’s the bases at Elgin, Offit, Maui, etc.) The cat is already out of the bag re Holsworthy, and anyway to suppress evidence, or even OMIT it, is criminal. Section 319 of the 1900 Crimes Act of NSW, says: “A person who does any act, or makes any omission, intending in any way to pervert the course of justice, is liable to imprisonment for 14 years.”
